Hi TL enthusiasts, I am currently looking at spending some time to find and add content to the website, as you know the bike was always a niche level bike and was not made in great numbers, hence the limited information or free content available on the internet.

Since starting the website about 5 years ago I have only once been offered some content from one forum member, so I would welcome any members to send me links or suggestions on here or via email if you have them, my email address is: ed.hondatl125@gmail.com

Either photos, videos or links to content or clubs on the web etc.

I will add new sections on the website for the additional content.

Help Needed TL 250

Hello all, I am a new member to the site and would really appreciate some help and advice. For my sins I have purchased 2 Honda TL 250 motorcycles which have arrived for the states in a used and abused state. I am wanting to restore them both to keep and ride, one as a green lane bike and one for twin shock clubman trials.

My problem is can anybody advise me on where to source parts from, I need a petrol tap assembly, seat, carb overhaul kits, a pair of fork stanchions, front mudguard centre bracket, levers and various other parts. I would also like to know the correct colours for the frame and petrol tank. And if anybody could tell me where I may source a repair or a workshop manual from.

I an really looking forward to bringing these bikes back to there former glory and use them as they were designed for, (sympathetically I may add) due to my age not the bike's ability. I do hope somebody can help point me in the right direction.

Hi , I have had a couple of 125s through the years , but now have 3 250s and one in bits , one of my motors is a 355cc approx , I will eventually do one up as original , I bought a brand new TL250 tank in the 80s , I still have it in a box , I think it worthy of a unboxing video for U tube . 😀 cheers Vaughn.

Tank Cleaning Question

I have a 74 125, the precious owner coated the inside of the tank with an epoxy like substance some 20 years ago, and it is flaking off near the neck. Is there a way to remove the epoxy and do a proper restoration to the inside of the tank?
